Stand Tall and Talk About Teamwork
I’ve read that tall men are more likely to get hired. I shaved to make myself look less bug-eyed. As luck had it, I turned out looking a few years younger than I am. When I went in to apply, I stood tall, hoping to add a couple of imaginary inches to my five feet eight inches. I’m not proud that I went as far as telling the interviewer, “Teamwork makes everyone a winner.”
